Wedding invitation inserts - what to include on them

Wedding fashion changes very quickly. There are certain elements without which a wedding simply cannot take place, and there are others that are just being introduced. Some trends and novelties enjoy little interest, while others take the wedding industry by storm.

Wedding invitation inserts – what are they?

Inserts for wedding invitations are nothing more than small cards tucked into the invitation, containing information that didn't fit on the invitation itself. Wedding invitation inserts are not only practical, but they can also serve as an additional decoration for your wedding stationery. It is worth ensuring that the inserts are kept in the same style as the invitations. They should be made of the same paper, feature the same font, color scheme, and floral decorations. The insert itself is the perfect way to provide invited guests with more information than what was included in the invitation. You can also gently suggest the Bride and Groom's requests or inform guests about accommodation or the day-after party.

What information can be included on an insert?

Usually, this includes information related to guest accommodation and room reservations – this is extremely important for those traveling from afar. You might also include an RSVP request, providing the names of the Bride and Groom along with phone numbers and the deadline for confirming attendance. It can also be information regarding gifts or what the couple would like to receive instead of flowers. Some want to be gifted lottery tickets, others prefer a bottle of good wine, and some use this opportunity to support a noble cause. This could involve donating school supplies for children in orphanages, pet food for a shelter, or financial support for a specific charity.

Information about the day-after party on the insert

Information about the day-after party (poprawiny) doesn't always fit on the invitation. Sometimes, not all guests are invited to the day-after party, as it may be held in a smaller, intimate circle, e.g., at the couple's home. A good and discreet way to convey this information to selected guests is by placing it on an insert. Such additional content doesn't always look good inside the invitation, so it is worth considering ordering inserts to maintain moderation and a clear look for your stationery.

Information about transport or accommodation on the insert

An invitation should be elegant. There is no room for too much information. A font that is too small or simply too much text will not look good. That is why the insert is the perfect place for information regarding transport to the wedding venue or accommodation details.

Information about accommodation should be included on the insert not only when the couple is paying for it for all interested parties, but also when there is an option to cover only part of the costs or use rooms at the wedding venue. In such cases, the insert should include the hotel address and phone number.
