What wedding style for 2023?

What wedding style for 2023?

Wedding trends change cyclically, captivating a significant number of couples planning their big day each time. This applies to every element, from the theme and the venue to the first dance song. Fans of following trends (not just in weddings) can easily guess the year of a specific celebration years later. For example, most people asked when a wedding took place where guests danced to "Bałkanica" would point to 2014. But what trends will be popular in the 2023 wedding season? Which themes and colors will future spouses choose most often?

What does a trendy 2023 wedding look like?

Modern weddings differ significantly from those organized just 2-3 years ago. First and foremost, the intimacy of these events is striking. This stems from a number of factors, but more and more couples are choosing a modest celebration with their closest family and friends instead of a lavish party for hundreds of guests. By all accounts, a 2023 wedding will look exactly like this for many couples.

Another important aspect to note is the return to nature. When listing popular 2023 wedding styles, we will certainly encounter the trend of outdoor weddings. A beautiful location surrounded by a garden has been gaining popularity for several seasons, so it is safe to assume it will be a popular choice for brides and grooms in the coming year as well. Beyond open spaces in nature, there is a growing interest in greenhouses and barns arranged in a rustic style. For this reason, the calendars of wedding planners are filling up with reservations for the warmer months.

What style of wedding will couples organize in 2023?

The trend of parties in castle halls or opulent interiors dripping with gold (or gold-plated) decorations is slowly fading. We cannot say that classic style is becoming trendy, because – as we know – its position is not threatened by any, even the most innovative, direction. It will always be in good taste. However, it is easy to notice that the themes for 2023 weddings are often classic. Instead of elaborate wedding gowns, brides are ordering simple, elegant dresses. Tulle, lace, and multiple layers of fabric on a hoop skirt are being replaced by chic, understated satin.

Future spouses are definitely prioritizing quality. By organizing a smaller reception, they can refine every detail, from wedding invitations to menu cards. At their wedding, every element on the table will matter. The era of personalized wedding celebrations is beginning, where guests can count not only on pre-assigned seats but also on other dedicated accessories. Furthermore, it is worth highlighting the greater freedom in choosing the wedding menu. More and more restaurants offer dishes for people with special requirements, including participants with food allergies, specific diets, etc. All it takes is the good will of the couple, and every guest will feel special.

Wedding themes in 2023 – trends

When it comes to wedding themes in 2023, the classics are present here as well. A cohesive wedding arrangement consists of muted color palettes. Warm shades of toffee, pastel blue, or natural earth tones will be fashionable. The 2023 wedding color of the year includes terracotta, reminiscent of the shade of scorched earth. There is also no shortage of fans of specific colors.

Regardless of the chosen color, each will look favorable when combined with gold or silver. It also looks beautiful in the company of white.

2023 wedding styles – what can we expect?

Future newlyweds have a wide choice of themes or color palettes. They can freely choose from the trendiest ideas regarding the bridal bouquet, welcome drinks, or the cake design. Nothing stands in the way of handing guests a fancy welcome cocktail instead of a glass of champagne. Additionally, there is no need to agonize over a wedding bouquet composition that will dazzle guests (you can buy a shorter, color-coordinated version). It will be beautiful, but more handy and lighter, and it also perfectly complements a minimalist dress.

The cake deserves a few more words. Of course, fans of multi-tiered confectionery masterpieces can order a richly decorated cake. However, the trendy 2023 cake has only the essential additions, regardless of whether it consists of several tiers or just one. Thanks to this, the pastry chefs have a chance to focus on perfecting the taste rather than the visual aspects.

These are just a few of the basic trends that will reign in the upcoming season. Couples are certainly looking forward to it!
